The Tipping Point

The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell in my opinion was quite a challenging read. I found the text pretty intense which in turn put me off reading it at the beginning. As I got further on I understood the context, Gladwell's viewpoint and how he conveyed evidence more clearly which grabbed my attention further. After reading this book it has opened up a new way of thinking and analysing things within the design world. I went through the book chapter by chapter, picked out the main key points Gladwell puts across and then furthered my investigation by choosing the theme of Sesame Street and Blue Clues. In more detail I extended my mind map by backing it up with the evidence which is highlighted in red. By completing this mind map it has helped me understand the importance of all the connections and clarified the key points of the book.
